Aderire alla Federazione

L'Organizzazione che ha deciso di partecipare deve compilare il Modulo di Adesione, firmarlo digitalmente ed inviarlo via mail a <idem-help@garr.it> unitamente ad almeno una richiesta di registrazione di servizio. In via eccezionale, potranno essere accettate scansioni del modulo con firma autografa.

Istruzioni

1. Compilare il Modulo di Adesione come segue:
   • utilizzare il nome ufficiale dell’Organizzazione richiedente;
   • scegliere Membro se membro della comunità GARR, scegliere Partner in tutti gli altri casi;
   • compilare la parte del "Referente Tecnico" solamente se l'organizzazione è un Membro della comunità GARR. Non va compilato se è stato selezionato “Partner”;
2. allegare ed inviare con le stesse modalità anche almeno una richiesta di registrazione di un servizio, vedi ProcedureAdesione#Registrazione servizi.
3. firmare digitalmente i documenti ed inviarli via mail a <idem-help@garr.it>.

Nota bene

Il documento sottoscritto dal Richiedente prevede l'accettazione del Regolamento della Federazione IDEM e delle Norme di Partecipazione.

Le specifiche tecniche sono descritte nei documenti Specifiche Tecniche e Specifiche tecniche per la compilazione e l'uso degli attributi.

I metadata delle entità registrate devono rispettare l'IDEM Metadata Profile.

Registrazione servizi

La Federazione riconosce due tipi di servizi:

• servizi di autenticazione, ovvero Identity Provider;
• servizi di accesso, ovvero Service Provider.

Per registrare un servizio è necessario compilare uno dei due moduli sottostanti, firmarlo digitalmente ed inviarlo via e-mail a <idem-help@garr.it>. L'unico dato tecnico necessario per la registrazione dei servizi è l'entityID, che è l'identificativo del servizio che si intende registrare e che di solito si ottiene al termine o durante l'installazione del servizio stesso, vedi la Documentazione tecnica e le Guide realizzate dal Servizio.

Istruzioni

1. (opzionale) Registrare l'Identity Provider o il Service Provider in Federazione di Test e assicurarsi che vengano rispettati i requisiti elencati in RegistraEntita;
2. compilare il modulo per la Registrazione Identity Provider o Registrazione Service Provider come segue:
   • spuntare la casella New;
   • inserire il nome ufficiale dell’Organizzazione richiedente;
   • inserire l'entityID come ottenuto dall'installazione del Identity Provider o Service Provider;
   • inserire i contatti tecnici per il servizio.
3. firmare digitalmente il modulo ed inviarlo via e-mail a <idem-help@garr.it>.

Aggiornamento e rimozione servizi

Per aggiornare o rimuovere un servizio:

1. compilare il modulo per la Registrazione Identity Provider o Registrazione Service Provider;
2. spuntare la casella REMOVAL(rimozione) o la casella CHANGE(aggiornamento);
3. inserire sempre lo entityID del servizio ed il nome ufficiale dell’Organizzazione;
4. in caso di CHANGE inserire i valori aggiornati.
5. firmare digitalmente il modulo ed inviarlo via e-mail a <idem-help@garr.it>.

Aggiornamento contatti

• Per l'aggiornamento del Referente Organizzativo e del Referente Tecnico, compilare il modulo di aggiornamento dei contatti IDEM, firmare digitalmente e inviare a <idem-help@garr.it>.
• Per l'aggiornamento dei Contatti Tecnici compilare il modulo per la Registrazione Identity Provider o Registrazione Service Provider, firmare digitalmente e inviare a <idem-help@garr.it>.

Join the Federation

The Organization that will to become a participant must fill in the Application Form, sign it digitally and send it by email to <idem-help@garr.it> together with at least one service registration requset. As an exception, scans of the form with handwritten signature will be evaluated on request.

Istructions

1. Fill in the Application Form as follows:
   • use the official name of the requesting Organization;
   • choose Member if member of the GARR community and connected to the GARR network, choose Partner in all other cases;
   • fill in the "Technical Contact Person" part only if the organization is a member of the GARR community. It does not need to be filled in if “Partner” has been selected;
2. attach and send in the same way at least one service registration request, see ProcedureAdesione# Registration of services.
3. digitally sign the documents and send them via email to <idem-help@garr.it>.

Please note

The document signed by the Applicant provides for the acceptance of the Regulations of the IDEM Federation and the Rules of Participation.

The technical specifications are described in the Technical Specifications and Technical Specifications documents for the compilation and use of the attributes.

The metadata of the registered entities must comply with the IDEM Metadata Profile.

Register a service

The Federation recognizes two types of services:

• authentication services, namely Identity Provider;
• access services, or Service Providers.

In order to register a service it is necessary to fill in one of the two forms below, sign it digitally and send it by e-mail to <idem-help@garr.it>. The only technical data necessary for the registration of the services is the entityID, which is the identifier of the service to be registered and which is usually obtained at the end or during the installation of the service itself, see the Technical documentation (in Italian) and the guides offered by the IDEM GARR AAI Service.

Instructions

1. (optional) Register the Identity Provider or Service Provider in the Test Federation and ensure that the requirements listed in RegistraEntita are met;
2. fill in the form for Identity Provider Registration or Service Provider Registration as follows:
   • check the New box;
   • enter the official name of the requesting Organization;
   • enter the entityID as obtained from the installation of the Identity Provider or Service Provider;
   • enter the technical contacts for the service.
   • digitally sign the form and send it by e-mail to <idem-help@garr.it>.

Services update and removal

To update or remove a service:

1. fill in the form for Identity Provider Registration or Service Provider Registration;
2. check the REMOVAL box or the CHANGE box;
3. enter the entityID of the service and the official name of the Organization;
4. in case of CHANGE enter the updated values.
5. digitally sign the form and send it by e-mail to <idem-help@garr.it>.

Contact update

• In order to update the Organizational Contact Person and the Technical Contact Person, fill in the IDEM contact update form, sign digitally and send to <idem-help@garr.it>.
• In order to update the Technical Contacts, fill in the form for Identity Provider Registration or Service Provider Registration, digitally sign and send to <idem-help@garr.it>.
