Aderire alla Federazione

L'Organizzazione che ha deciso di partecipare deve presentare 2 moduli:

• Richiesta di Adesione a IDEM.
• Richiesta Registrazione Entita.

I moduli vanno compilati seguendo le istruzioni qui sotto, firmati digitalmente e inviati via mail a <idem-help@garr.it>.

Saranno processate solo richieste di adesione complete di entrambi i moduli.

NOTA BENE:

• Il servizio IDEM annullerà per inattività le Richieste di Adesione qualora, entro 3 mesi dalla ricezione, non abbia mai fatto seguito l'installazione e l'inserimento di una entità nella Federazione IDEM di Test.

• Saranno altresì annullate per inattività le Richieste di Adesione in cui l'entità registrata nella Federazione IDEM di Test non abbia concluso il passaggio in produzione entro 6 mesi dal primo inserimento.

Istruzioni

1. Compilare la Richiesta di Adesione a IDEM come segue:
   • utilizzare il nome ufficiale dell’Organizzazione richiedente;
   • scegliere Membro se membro della comunità GARR, scegliere Partner in tutti gli altri casi;
2. allegare ed inviare con le stesse modalità anche almeno una Richiesta Registrazione Entita., vedi ProcedureAdesione#Registrazione servizi.
3. firmare digitalmente i documenti ed inviarli via mail a <idem-help@garr.it>. Le firme digitali accettate sono:
   • firma elettronica avanzata
   • firma elettronica qualificata
   • firma digitale perchè sono quelle che hanno validità legale per la firma di contratti e simili, ai sensi del CAD con i riferimenti al Decreto Legislativo 7 marzo 2005, n. 82 Art. 20 Validità ed efficacia probatoria dei documenti informatici.

Nota bene

Il documento sottoscritto dal Richiedente prevede l'accettazione del Regolamento della Federazione IDEM e delle Norme di Partecipazione.

Le specifiche tecniche sono descritte nei documenti Specifiche Tecniche e Specifiche tecniche per la compilazione e l'uso degli attributi.

I metadata delle entità registrate devono rispettare l'IDEM Metadata Profile.

Registrazione entità

La Federazione riconosce due tipi di servizi:

• servizi di autenticazione, ovvero Identity Provider;
• servizi di accesso, ovvero Service Provider.

Per registrare un servizio compilare la Richiesta Registrazione Entita firmarla digitalmente ed inviarla via e-mail a <idem-help@garr.it>. L'unico dato tecnico necessario per la registrazione dei servizi è l'entityID, che è l'identificativo del servizio che si intende registrare e che di solito si ottiene al termine o durante l'installazione del servizio stesso, vedi la Documentazione tecnica e le Guide realizzate dal Servizio.

Istruzioni

1. Registrare l'Identity Provider o il Service Provider in Federazione di Test e assicurarsi che vengano rispettati i requisiti elencati in RegistraEntita;
2. compilare la Richiesta Registrazione Entita come segue:
   • inserire il nome ufficiale dell’Organizzazione richiedente;
   • inserire l'entityID come ottenuto dall'installazione dell'Identity Provider o del Service Provider;
3. firmare digitalmente il modulo ed inviarlo via e-mail a <idem-help@garr.it>. Le firme digitali accettate sono:
   • firma elettronica avanzata
   • firma elettronica qualificata
   • firma digitale perchè sono quelle che hanno validità legale per la firma di contratti e simili, ai sensi del CAD con i riferimenti al Decreto Legislativo 7 marzo 2005, n. 82 Art. 20 Validità ed efficacia probatoria dei documenti informatici.

Aggiornamento e rimozione servizi

Per aggiornare o rimuovere un servizio il Referente Tecnico contatta il servizio IDEM via e-mail <idem-help@garr.it> comunicando la variazione e firmando digitalmente. Le firme digitali accettate sono:

• firma elettronica avanzata
• firma elettronica qualificata
• firma digitale perchè sono quelle che hanno validità legale per la firma di contratti e simili, ai sensi del CAD con i riferimenti al Decreto Legislativo 7 marzo 2005, n. 82 Art. 20 Validità ed efficacia probatoria dei documenti informatici.

Referenti Tecnici

Per indicare un ulteriore Referente Tecnico per la propria organizzazione, compilare la Nomina Referente Tecnico, firmare digitalmente e inviare a <segreteria@garr.it>. Le firme digitali accettate sono:

• firma elettronica avanzata
• firma elettronica qualificata
• firma digitale perchè sono quelle che hanno validità legale per la firma di contratti e simili, ai sensi del CAD con i riferimenti al Decreto Legislativo 7 marzo 2005, n. 82 Art. 20 Validità ed efficacia probatoria dei documenti informatici.

Aggiornamento referenti

Per l'aggiornamento del Referente Organizzativo e del Referente Tecnico, compilare nuovamente la Richiesta di Adesione a IDEM, firmare digitalmente e inviare a <segreteria@garr.it>. Le firme digitali accettate sono:

• firma elettronica avanzata
• firma elettronica qualificata
• firma digitale perchè sono quelle che hanno validità legale per la firma di contratti e simili, ai sensi del CAD con i riferimenti al Decreto Legislativo 7 marzo 2005, n. 82 Art. 20 Validità ed efficacia probatoria dei documenti informatici.

Join the Federation

The Organization that will to become a participant must fill in the following Forms:

• Request to join IDEM Federation
• Entity Registration Request

Both forms have to be filled in following the instructions below, digitally signed and then sent to <idem-help@garr.it>.

Application Requests missing one of the 2 forms will be discarded.

PLEASE NOTE:

• IDEM staff will discard after 3 months any idle "Application Request" which is not associated with an entity registration in the IDEM Test Federation.
• "Application Requests" related to an entity registered in the IDEM Test Federation will be discarded if the entity is unable to join the IDEM Prodution Federation within 6 months after entering the Test Federation.

Istructions

1. Fill in the Application Form as follows:
   • use the official name of the requesting Organization;
   • choose Member if member of the GARR community and connected to the GARR network, choose Partner in all other cases;
2. attach and send in the same way at least one Entity Registration Request, see Register_a_service.
3. digitally sign the documents and send them via email to <idem-help@garr.it>.

Please note:

The document signed by the Applicant provides for the acceptance of the Regulations of the IDEM Federation and the Rules of Participation.

The technical specifications are described in the Technical Specifications and Attributes Technical Specifications documents.

The metadata of the registered entities must comply with the IDEM Metadata Profile.

Register an entity

The Federation recognizes two types of entities:

• authentication services, namely Identity Provider;
• access services, or Service Providers.

In order to register a service it is necessary to fill in the Entity Registration Request, sign it digitally and send it by e-mail to <idem-help@garr.it>. The only technical data necessary for the registration of the services is the entityID, which is the identifier of the service to be registered and which is usually obtained at the end or during the installation of the service itself. For reference see the Technical documentation (in Italian) and the IDEM guides.

Instructions

1. Register the Identity Provider or Service Provider in the Test Federation and address all the requirements listed in RegistraEntita;
2. fill in the Entity Registration Request as follows:
   • enter the official name of the requesting Organization.
   • enter the entityID as obtained from the installation of the Identity Provider or Service Provider.
   • digitally sign the form and send it by e-mail to <idem-help@garr.it>.

Services update and removal

To update or remove a service the Technical Representative sends a digitally signed (S/MIME) e-mail to the IDEM Service <idem-help@garr.it> indicating the requested update or removal operation.

Technical Representatives

In order to nominate additional Technical Representatives, fill in the Technical Representative Appointment, sign it digitally and send it by e-mail to <idem-help@garr.it>.

Contact update

• In order to update the Organizational Contact Person and the Technical Contact Person, fill in the IDEM contact update form, sign digitally and send to <idem-help@garr.it>.
• In order to update the Technical Contacts, fill in the form for Identity Provider Registration or Service Provider Registration, digitally sign and send to <idem-help@garr.it>.
